Binate
This piece combines a ceramic base with a two-armed vase form with crocheted upper sections. The crocheted hemp cord forms hyperbolic surfaces reminiscent of some types of sea life. The crochet work was done by Marla Peterson. Completed in 2016, this sculpture measures 16" x 8" x 8".
